RIVER SUMMARY AND FORECAST FOR SOUTHEAST ALASKA

Sites expected to be near or above flood stage: Mendenhall Lake is
rising steadily, likely due a glacial dammed lake release combined
with heavy rains.  Mendenhall Lake and River levels will approach
bank full later today and could go higher overnight.  Taiya River
is elevated to bankfull levels and expected to slowly recede over
the next several days.
