A major storm system will bring 1 to 3 inches of rain to Southern
New England for Monday into Tuesday afternoon. There will also be
areas of snow across the regions higher elevations above 800 feet.

For the next 48 hours the regions rivers will have minor rises
by Tuesday morning. There will be minor to moderate rises by
Wednesday, but should remain below action stage.


These forecasts include 24 hour precipitation for the period ending
at 7 am today, and forecast precipitation through 7 am tomorrow.
