...All river forecast points were well below flood stage...

Strong thunderstorms brought widespread showers last evening to the
forecast area...with rainfall amounts up to around one inch reported.
High pressure building down from the Great Lakes will be centered
over the Mid-Atlantic by Thursday afternoon...then move off the coast
by Friday morning. Fair and generally seasonable weather is expected
through Friday.

Area rivers had minor rises during the past 24 hours...and no
significant rises are expected through Friday.
