Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

High pressure will remain offshore overnight. A few showers and
thunderstorms are possible overnight.

Low pressure will approach the area on Friday and intensify over the
Mid Atlantic Friday night. Widespread showers and scattered
thunderstorms with heavy rainfall are expected Friday afternoon
through Saturday morning. The low will move slowly off the Delmarva
coast late Saturday and away from the area on Sunday.
