Here is a look at the weather features that will affect the region
over the next several days.

A warm front will lift into the area today, resulting in showers
and thunderstorms developing. The risk for severe storms increases
with southwestward extent across the area, and in particular from
the southern Shenandoah Valley into central Virginia.

Unsettled weather will continue as the front settles south on
Sunday and is then overtaken by an eastward moving cold front on
Monday.
