Low pressure will affect the region Tuesday into Tuesday night.
Rain is expected across most of the area during this time, with a
wintry mix of precipitation likely near and west of the Blue Ridge
Mountains.

A strong cold front will move through the region Thursday leading
to much colder temperatures for the end of the week into the
weekend.
