SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OCCURRED ACROSS THE MISSOURI OZARKS AND
EXTREME SOUTHEAST KANSAS OVERNIGHT AND INTO THIS MORNING. THIS
HELPED TO KEEP TEMPERATURES SLIGHTLY COOLER TODAY WITH HIGHS FROM
THE LOW TO UPPER 80S.

A FRONTAL BOUNDARY REMAINS NORTH OF THE AREA WITH AN OUTFLOW
BOUNDARY NEAR THE SOUTHWEST CORNER OF MISSOURI AS OF THE LATE
AFTERNOON. THESE TWO FEATURES WILL BE THE FOCAL POINT OF
THUNDERSTORM REDEVELOPMENT THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT. SOME
STORMS COULD BE STRONG TO SEVERE TONIGHT WITH LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL OF ONE TO THREE INCHES POSSIBLE.

WARM CONDITIONS ARE FORECAST TO CONTINUE INTO LATE WEEK WITH HIGH
TEMPERATURES IN THE UPPER 80S TO LOWER 90S. ANOTHER COLD FRONT AND
RAIN CHANCES RETURN NEXT WEEKEND WITH TEMPERATURES COOLING INTO
THE UPPER 70S AND LOWER 80S..
