ARE FOUND ALONG AND UP TO 200 MILES NORTHWEST OF THE FRONT.

A SURFACE TROUGH SOUTH OF KOROR EXTENDS SOUTHEASTWARD FROM 4N130E TO
EQ137E. LOW-LEVEL CONVERGENCE TO THE NORTH AND EAST OF THE TROUGH IS
TRIGGERING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS IN PATCHY AREAS
ACROSS PALAU AND NEAR YAP BETWEEN 9N AND 3N FROM 130E TO 138E...AND
ALONG THE EQUATOR SOUTH OF 1N FROM 135E TO 138E.

A TRADE-WIND DISTURBANCE CENTERED SOUTH OF CHUUK NEAR 2N152E IS
GENERATING NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS OVER CHUUK
STATE AND SOUTHWEST POHNPEI STATE BETWEEN 8N AND THE EQUATOR FROM
148E YO 157E.

FARTHER EAST...TRADE-WIND CONVERGENCE IS PRODUCING SCATTERED SHOWERS
AND A FEW THUNDERSTORMS BETWEEN KOSRAE AND MAJURO WITHIN 125 MILES
OF A LINE FROM 7N165E TO 4N171E AND JUST EAST OF TARAWA SOUTH OF 3N
FROM 174E TO 179E.
