A SHEAR LINE EXTENDS SOUTHWESTWARD FROM SOUTH OF MIDWAY ISLAND
THROUGH 17N180 TO NORTHEAST OF POHNPEI AT 8N160E...THEN CONTINUES
WESTWARD TO END NEAR KOROR AT 8N136E. CLOUDINESS AND SCATTERED
LIGHT SHOWERS ARE FOUND ALONG AND UP TO 200 MILES NORTH OF THIS
BOUNDARY BETWEEN 180 AND 150E.

CONVERGENT LOW-LEVEL WINDS ARE GENERATING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A
FEW THUNDERSTORMS SOUTH OF POHNPEI AND KOSRAE BETWEEN THE EQUATOR
AND 4N FROM 156E TO 166E. SCATTERED SHOWERS ARE ALSO SEEN
SOUTHWEST OF IWO TO ISLAND...NORTHWEST OF A LINE FROM 21N130E TO
25N137E.

A TRADE-WIND DISTURBANCE IS CAUSING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW
THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE SOUTHERN MARSHALL ISLANDS...BUTARITARI AND
TARAWA ATOLLS WITHIN 110 MILES OF A LINE FROM 4N166E TO 7N174E TO
1N177E. SIMILAR WEATHER ALSO EXISTS SOUTHWEST OF CHUUK WITHIN 120
MILES OF A LINE FROM 5N143E TO 2N151E.
