TYPHOON KILO IS CENTERED NEAR 24N180 DRIFTING NORTH-NORTHWEST WITH
MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WINDS OF 100 MPH. HEAVY RAIN AND ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS ARE WITHIN 160 MILES OF THE CENTER. FOR MORE

A MONSOON TROUGH STRETCHES EAST-SOUTHEASTWARD FROM 11N130E TO A
CIRCULATION CENTERED NORTHEAST OF POHNPEI NEAR 8N160E...THEN
CONTINUES EAST-NORTHEASTWARD TO GO BEYOND THE DATE LINE AT 12N.
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE FOUND NORTH OF YAP
AND KOROR WITHIN 60 MILES OF A LINE FROM 18N132E TO 13N140E. SIMILAR
WEATHER IS FOUND SOUTHEAST OF YAP BETWEEN 10N AND 5N FROM 138E TO
142E. FARTHER EAST...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS
ARE LOCATED IN PORTIONS OF POHNPEI AND KOSRAE STATES AS WELL AS THE
MARSHALL ISLANDS BETWEEN 11N AND THE EQUATOR FROM 153E TO 174E.

A TRADE-WIND DISTURBANCE IS TRIGGERING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND
ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS EAST OF THE MARIANAS WITHIN 110 MILES OF A
LINE FROM 13N145E TO 16N153E.
