...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of northwestern Lincoln
and northwestern McCormick Counties through 815 PM EDT...

At 725 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Nancy Hart State Park, or 14 miles north of Washington, moving east
at 20 mph.

...Boaters on Lake Strom Thurmond Should Seek Safe Harbor...

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Lake Strom Thurmond, Willington, Gill`s Point, Mount Carmel Park,
Bordeaux, Hester`s Ferry Campground, Chennault, Mount Carmel, Leroy`s
Ferry Recreation Area, and Long Cane Creek Picnic Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
this storm passes.
