At 617 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking an area of strong
thunderstorms near Steprock and to the northeast, the strongest
around 13 miles northeast of Searcy, moving east at 30 mph.

Small hail from pea up to half inch hail has been seen with these
storms, and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these
storms. Localized heavy rain will also be seen.
