NORTH OF MAJURO. LATEST ASCAT SHOWS EAST WINDS OF 25 TO 30 MPH
NORTH OF CENTER AND SOUTHWEST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH SOUTH OF THE
CENTER. DEEP CONVECTION IS FLARING UP NEAR AND NORTH OF CENTER. FOR

FOR MAJURO...JALUIT AND MILI...

WEST WINDS OF 15 TO 25 MPH WILL SHIFT TO THE SOUTHWEST THIS
MORNING...THEN SOUTH AND DECREASE THIS EVENING. THESE WINDS CAN
STILL CAUSE DAMAGE ON POORLY CONSTRUCTED STRUCTURES. SEAS OF 8 TO 10
FEET WILL PERSIST THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON THEN SLOWLY SUBSIDE ON
SUNDAY. THESE SEAS ARE HAZARDOUS TO SMALL CRAFT OPERATION AND INTER-
ATOLL TRAVEL SHOULD BE POSTPONED UNTIL WINDS AND SEAS HAVE SUBSIDED
MONDAY.

SWELL AND WIND WAVES GENERATED BY FRESH WINDS WILL COMBINE WITH A
RISING SPRING TIDE CYCLE RESULTING IN COASTAL INUNDATION UP TO 1
FOOT ALONG SOUTH AND WEST FACING SHORES THROUGH THIS EVENING...
ESPECIALLY DURING HIGH TIDES.

A VERY ACTIVE MONSOON PATTERN WILL PERSIST ACROSS MICRONESIA FROM
THE REPUBLIC OF PALAU EASTWARD TO KOSRAE STATE OVER THE NEXT FEW
DAYS. EXPECT WEST TO SOUTHWEST WINDS OF 15 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS TO
30 MPH IN SHOWERS. THESE WINDS CAN STILL CAUSE DAMAGE ON POORLY
CONSTRUCTED STRUCTURES. SCATTERED HEAVY SHOWERS AND ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING ADDITIONAL RAINFALL OF 1 TO 3
INCHES ARE ANTICIPATED THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING. NEED TO CONTINUE
MONITORING FOR THE POTENTIAL OF MUDSLIDES ON THE HIGH ISLANDS.

SEAS OF 9 TO 12 FEET WILL BE HAZARDOUS FOR SMALL CRAFT OPERATION...
INTER-ISLAND TRAVEL SHOULD BE POSTPONED UNTIL WINDS AND SEAS HAVE
SUBSIDED LATER NEXT WEEK.

RESIDENTS THROUGHOUT MICRONESIA SHOULD CONTINUE TO MONITOR THIS
SITUATION CLOSELY. PAY ATTENTION TO LATER STATEMENTS AND ADVISORIES
