...AREAS OF DENSE FOG WILL OCCUR EARLY THIS MORNING...

AREA OF DENSE FOG HAVE DEVELOPED OVER SECTIONS OF THE NORTHEAST
PIEDMONT AND THE COASTAL PLAIN EARLY THIS MORNING. THE FOG APPEARS
TO BE THICKEST ON THE NORTH SIDE OF RALEIGH IN VICINITY OF I-540
AND THE RDU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT...AS WELL AS IN THE VICINITY OF
GOLDSBORO...HENDERSON...LOUISBURG AND ROANOKE RAPIDS.

THE REDUCED VISIBILITY DUE TO THE FOG MAY CAUSE A FEW TRAVEL
DELAYS. THUS...EARLY MORNING COMMUTERS SHOULD ALLOW EXTRA TIME TO
REACH THEIR DESTINATIONS. DUE TO THE LIMITED
VISIBILITY...MOTORISTS NEED TO BE EXTRA ALERT AS THEY APPROACH
CROSSWALKS...SCHOOLYARDS...AND BUS STOPS.

THE FOG SHOULD LIFT AFTER 9 AM.
