...AREAS OF DENSE FOG DEVELOPING...

WIDESPREAD FOG HAS BEGUN TO FORM OVER NORTH CENTRAL NORTH
CAROLINA... INCLUDING IN THE TRIANGLE REGION NORTH TO THE
VIRGINIA BORDER. SOME OF THIS FOG HAS BECOME DENSE... DROPPING
VISIBILITIES TO A HALF MILE OR LESS. THIS FOG IS EXPECTED TO
PERSIST THROUGH THE MORNING RUSH HOUR... CAUSING TRAVEL PROBLEMS
LATE TONIGHT THROUGH DAYBREAK.

BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR SUDDEN CHANGES IN VISIBILITIES OVERNIGHT
AND INTO THE MORNING. VISIBILITIES CAN DROP QUICKLY IN SHORT
DISTANCES. IN ADDITION... VISIBILITIES MAY BECOME SEVERELY
RESTRICTED NEAR RIVERS... LAKES... AND OTHER LOW-LYING AREAS. BE
ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS IN AND NEAR SCHOOL ZONES AND BUS STOPS. WATCH
FOR FLASHING YELLOW OR RED SIGNALS ON SCHOOL BUSES... AND BE ON
THE LOOKOUT FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN.
