...SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT...

At 609 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 5
miles southwest of Olpe, moving northeast at 60 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
this storm.

Freezing rain could also cause bridges and overpasses to freeze up
quickly.

Locations impacted include...
Emporia, Osage City, Lebo, Olpe, Melvern, Hartford, Neosho Rapids,
Reading, Olivet, Beto Junction and Melvern Lake.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 132 and 158.
