HIGH PRESSURE INCHING THROUGH THE WESTERN LAKES TONIGHT WILL BUILD
ACROSS MICHIGAN EARLY TODAY...BUT WITH SHOWERS INCREASING THIS
AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT AS A COLD FRONT APPROACHES. THAT FRONT WILL
ARRIVE HERE EARLY FRIDAY...BRINGING A PERIOD OF RAIN CHANGING TO
SNOW AS WELL AS WINDY AND MUCH COLDER WEATHER JUST IN TIME FOR
HALLOWEEN. PRECIPITATION CHANCES WILL DWINDLE FRIDAY NIGHT...WITH
CHILLY AND DRY CONDITIONS ANTICIPATED FOR THE UPCOMING WEEKEND.

HIGH TEMPERATURES TODAY WILL RANGE THROUGH THE 40S ACROSS THE
STATE...WITH LOWS TONIGHT MAINLY IN THE 30S.

THE FOLLOWING IS THE HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK FOR NORTHERN LOWER
AND EASTERN UPPER MICHIGAN.

A STRONG FALL STORM SYSTEM WILL BRING THE FIRST ACCUMULATING SNOW OF
THE SEASON FOR SOME AREAS LATE TONIGHT INTO FRIDAY...ALONG WITH WIND
GUSTS OF 30 TO 40 MPH...HIGHEST NEAR THE LAKE SHORES. IN
ADDITION...THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE FRIDAY MORNING ACROSS MAINLY
NORTHERN LOWER MICHIGAN...WHILE GALES ARE ANTICIPATED OVER A LARGE
PORTION OF THE GREAT LAKES WATERS INTO FRIDAY NIGHT.
