WEATHER SYNOPSIS

A STRONG HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE SOUTHEAST INTO THE UPPER
MISSISSIPPI VALLEY BY THIS EVENING. THIS SYSTEM WILL PRODUCE A
NORTHERLY WIND FLOW OF UNSEASONABLY COLD AIR FOR THE OVERNIGHT HOURS.
THE HIGH WILL REACH THE EAST COAST OF THE UNITED STATES BY LATE
FRIDAY. A SOUTHWEST WIND FLOW ON THE BACK SIDE OF THIS HIGH WILL
BRING MILDER TEMPERATURES FOR FRIDAY AND SATURDAY. HIGHS WILL BE
IN THE 40S ON FRIDAY AND 50S ON SATURDAY. THE MILDEST DAY WILL
BE SUNDAY, IMMEDIATELY AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT MOVING SOUTHEAST
ACROSS MISSOURI AND ILLINOIS. HIGHS WILL BE IN THE 60S. THERE IS A
SMALL CHANCE OF RAIN AHEAD OF THE FRONT, BUT THE RAIN WILL BE
MOSTLY BEHIND THE FRONT SUNDAY NIGHT AND MONDAY.
