WEATHER SYNOPSIS
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE PADUCAH KY
300 PM CDT SAT AUG 30 2014

RAIN CHANCES WILL CONTINUE THROUGHOUT TONIGHT AND THEN BEGIN TO
DECREASE ESPECIALLY OVER THE WESTERN HALF OF THE AREA AS WE HEAD
INTO TOMORROW. PARTS OF WESTERN KENTUCKY AND SOUTHWESTERN INDIANA
MIGHT NOT BE AS FORTUNATE, AS THOSE AREAS WILL BE MORE LIKELY TO SEE
RAIN CONTINUE AT TIMES THROUGHOUT THE DAY ON SUNDAY. AFTER THAT IT
APPEARS SUNDAY NIGHT INTO LABOR DAY SHOULD BE RATHER DRY ACROSS THE
REGION FOR A NICE END TO THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND. SHOWER AND
THUNDERSTORM CHANCES WILL INCREASE AGAIN MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY
WITH THE ARRIVAL OF ANOTHER FRONTAL SYSTEM APPROACHING FROM THE
NORTHWEST.

SUNDAYS HIGHS LOOK TO BE HELD IN CHECK WITH MORE CLOUD COVER
LINGERING OVER THE AREA WITH TEMPERATURES TOPPING OUT IN THE LOW TO
MID 80S. THEN THE HEAT GETS TURNED BACK UP FOR THE UPCOMING WEEK AS
WE SEE AFTERNOON TEMPERATURES SPIKE BACK INTO THE UPPER 80S TO LOWER
90S WITH RATHER OPPRESSIVE HUMIDITY LEVELS AS WE HEAD INTO SEPTEMBER.
