For the central North Pacific...between 140W and 180:

1. Showers and thunderstorms associated with an area of low
pressure located around 1500 miles east-southeast of Hilo, Hawaii
are becoming more organized. Environmental conditions are
expected to support further development, and a tropical depression
is likely to form over the next couple of days as it continues
toward the west-northwest around 15 mph.
* Formation chance through 48 hours...high...80 percent

Elsewhere, no tropical cyclones are expected through early Sunday
morning.
