...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY EVENING THROUGH
FRIDAY MORNING...

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a Winter
Storm Watch, which is in effect from Thursday evening through
Friday morning.

* TIMING...Mainly from mid-evening Thursday into Friday morning.

* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...Generally from 4 to 6 inches with
  locally higher amounts.

* WINDS/VISIBILITY...Northerly winds from 15 to 30 mph with gusts
  over 40 mph. Visibilities under a half mile at times with some
  blowing snow possible as well.

* IMPACTS...Mostly to travel due to the snow and wind potentially
  producing very low visibilities and snow-covered roads...
  especially around the Interstate 80 summit area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow...sleet...or ice accumulations that may impact travel.
