...ONE MORE SHOT OF HIGHER ELEVATION SNOW TO THE MOUNTAINS OF
SOUTHERN NEW MEXICO TONIGHT...

A PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WILL SWEEP ACROSS NEW MEXICO THIS EVENING.
A FEW SHOWERS HAVE ALREADY DEVELOPED THIS AFTERNOON. THE SNOW AND
RAIN WILL CONTINUE THROUGH MUCH OF THE EVENING BEFORE TAPERING
OFF AND ENDING AROUND MIDNIGHT. SNOW LEVELS WILL REMAIN AT ABOUT
6500 FEET...WITH SNOW ABOVE AND POSSIBLY A MIX OF SNOW AND RAIN
BELOW TO 6000 FEET...IN PLACES SUCH AS SILVER CITY. CLOUDS WILL
BEGIN DIMINISHING LATE TONIGHT AND FRIDAY IS EXPECTED TO BE
MOSTLY SUNNY.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: PERIODS OF MODERATE SNOW WILL DROP 3 TO 5
  INCHES OF SNOW THROUGH TONIGHT ABOVE 6500 FEET.

* TIMING: RAIN AND SNOW WILL CONTINUE OFF AND ON TONIGHT. SNOW
  SHOULD END BY AROUND MIDNIGHT.

* WINDS: NORTHWEST 10 TO 15 MPH.

* SNOW LEVELS: REMAINING AROUND 6500 FEET.

* IMPACTS: TRAVEL MAY BECOME DIFFICULT DUE TO SNOW PACKED AND
  ICY ROADWAYS AS WELL AS LOW VISIBILITIES.
