BLIZZARD CONDITIONS TODAY...

.A BAND OF SNOW WILL CONTINUE THIS MORNING FROM EASTERN SOUTH
DAKOTA THROUGH CENTRAL MINNESOTA WITH SNOW DEVELOPING ELSEWHERE
EARLY THIS MORNING. THE SNOW WILL QUICKLY TAPER OFF AROUND MIDDAY.
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 3 TO 5 INCHES ARE EXPECTED ACROSS WEST
CENTRAL MINNESOTA...WITH 1 TO 3 INCHES ELSEWHERE.

MORE IMPORTANTLY...AN ARCTIC COLD FRONT WILL PUSH ACROSS
MINNESOTA LATER THIS MORNING AND WESTERN WISCONSIN EARLY IN THE
AFTERNOON. NORTHWEST WINDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH...WITH GUSTS AS HIGH
AS 45 MPH...ARE LIKELY...PARTICULARLY ACROSS WEST CENTRAL THROUGH
SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA. THE STRONG WINDS WILL PRODUCE
CONSIDERABLE BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW AND BLIZZARD CONDITIONS.
VISIBILITIES WILL BE FREQUENTLY REDUCED TO LESS THAN A QUARTER
MILE IN OPEN AREAS OF WEST CENTRAL THROUGH SOUTH CENTRAL
MINNESOTA.

A BLIZZARD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH EARLY EVENING FOR
