The National Weather Service in the Quad Cities has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southwestern Rock Island County in northwestern Illinois...
  Southeastern Cedar County in east central Iowa...
  Southwestern Scott County in east central Iowa...
  Muscatine County in east central Iowa...

* Until 845 PM CDT.

* At 806 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from Springdale to Saulsbury Bridge Campground to Letts,
  moving east at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Muscatine, Durant, Wilton, Walcott, Blue Grass, Buffalo, Andalusia,
  Fruitland, Atalissa, Montpelier, Illinois City, Rochester,
  Fairport, Edgington, Stockton, Clark`s Ferry Recreation Area, New
  Era, Pleasant Prairie, Moscow, and Sunbury.

This includes Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 263 and 288.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for northwestern
