Fire Weather Planning Forecast for New Mexico and Far West Texas

.DISCUSSION...
We will have very dry conditions this week. Min RH`s will be in
the single digits today through Friday in the lowlands and only to
near 10% in area mountains. RH recoveries at night will be poor,
values of 15 to 20% in the lowlands and 20 to 30% in the
mountains. Winds will not be much of a factor this week. We will
see afternoon breezy winds, but those winds will stay well
critical levels. For next weekend we will see a slight chance for
thunderstorms mainly east of the Rio Grande. Vent rates today and
Wednesday will range from very good to excellent.
