...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Georgia...

  Conasauga River at Tilton affecting Murray, Whitfield and Gordon
  Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY SATURDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Conasauga River at Tilton.

* WHEN...Until early Saturday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 18 feet, Flood stage is reached. Minor flooding
  begins in the woodlands, fields and pastures along the river
  upstream and downstream from the gage on the Brackett Ridge Road
  bridge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 18.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 18.8
    feet early Friday afternoon. It will then fall below flood
    stage early Saturday morning.
  - Flood stage is 18 feet.
