This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for south central Nebraska and
portions of north central Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Each afternoon Wednesday through Sunday, at least portions of the
area will likely observe at least near-critical fire weather
conditions, due to the combination of winds gusting at least 20 to
25 MPH, and relative humidity of 25 percent or lower.

Currently, the day of greatest fire weather concern is Thursday,
when outright-critical conditions appear likely across much of the
area, due to the combination of moderately-strong northwest
winds, sustained at least 25 to 30 MPH and gusting 35 to 45 MPH,
in tandem with relative humidity as low as 15 to 20 percent.

Monday afternoon, our next thunderstorm chances first enter the
picture, but higher chances look to hold off until the evening
and overnight hours. There are early indications that a severe
thunderstorm threat is possible.
