...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN GREENVILLE AND
NORTHWESTERN SPARTANBURG COUNTIES THROUGH 300 PM EDT...

At 225 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 13
miles south of Columbus, or 4 miles southwest of Campobello, moving
southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Duncan, Lyman, Inman, Tigerville, Lake Robinson, Wellford, Greer, and
Gowensville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for
Upstate South Carolina.
