...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 245 PM EDT
FOR SOUTHWESTERN MCDOWELL COUNTY...

At 200 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles west of
Marion, or near Old Fort, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind
         damage to trees and power lines.

Locations impacted include...
Old Fort, B.R. Parkway-Craggy To Little Switzerland, Sugar Hill,
Pleasant Gardens, Woodlawn, and Busick.
