...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL BRAZOS AND WEST
CENTRAL MADISON COUNTIES THROUGH 100 AM CDT...

At 1227 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 11 miles east of Anderson
to near Huntsville to 10 miles west of Riverside. Movement was
northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

These storms will remain over mainly rural areas of north central
Brazos and west central Madison Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for
southeastern Texas.
