...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN GEORGETOWN...
SOUTHWESTERN HORRY...SOUTH CENTRAL MARION AND EAST CENTRAL
WILLIAMSBURG COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM EDT...

At 447 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Adrian to near Outland. Movement was
east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Conway, Red Hill, Socastee, Horry, Hickory Grove, Homewood, Horry
Georgetown Technical College Conway Campus, Adrian, Bucksville, Pee
Dee Crossroads, Hand, Nixonville, Bucksport, Dongola, Plantersville,
Outland, Hammond, Yauhannah, Coastal Carolina University, and
Bayboro.

This includes SC Highway 22 between mile markers 1 and 25.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Continuous cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Move indoors immediately. Lightning is one of nature`s leading
killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to
be struck by lightning.
