...The National Weather Service in Indianapolis IN has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Indiana...

  Youngs Creek at Amity.

.Widespread rainfall amounts of one to one and a half inches in and
around the Young`s Creek watershed have caused rapid rises along
Young`s Creek at Amity.  The creek will begin flooding shortly and
may be in flood for at least a few days.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

The next statement should be issued this afternoon by around 1215 PM
EDT.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM EARLY THIS MORNING UNTIL FURTHER
NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Youngs Creek at Amity.

* WHEN...From early this morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Significant flooding in progress.  Parks
  and some local roads are flooded by a foot or more of water.
  Agricultural flooding is noticeable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:15 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 6.8 feet.
  - Forecast...The river will rise above flood stage early this
    morning to 9.6 feet this afternoon. It will then fall late
    this afternoon. It will rise to 9.8 feet late this evening.
    It will then fall tomorrow morning. It will then rise again
    and remain above flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
