.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

OUTLOOK: RAIN IS LIKELY TODAY AND IN SOME AREAS EARLY TONIGHT.
A PERIOD OF MIXED RAIN AND SNOW IS POSSIBLE AFTER MIDNIGHT.

HAZARDS: MIXED RAIN AND SNOW MAY PRODUCE A FEW SLICK SPOTS ON
ROADWAYS.

TIMING: AFTER MIDNIGHT.

DISCUSSION: A COLD FRONT WILL MOVE SOUTHEAST ACROSS OUR REGION
LATE TODAY AND EARLY TONIGHT. COLDER AIR ARRIVING TONIGHT MAY
CAUSE A PERIOD OF MIXED PRECIPITATION BEFORE IT ENDS.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

OUTLOOK: EAST CENTRAL SECTIONS MAY SEE A PERIOD OF MIXED
PRECIPITATION SUNDAY MORNING. LIGHT SNOW IS POSSIBLE AGAIN AROUND
NEXT FRIDAY.

DISCUSSION: COLD AND DRY WEATHER WILL BE THE RULE MOST OF THIS
PERIOD AS AN ARCTIC HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM MOVES EAST ACROSS OUR
REGION BY THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK. A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE
INTO THE LOWER MISSISSIPPI VALLEY LATE NEXT WEEK.
