This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Outlook: Snow showers today. Patchy freezing drizzle possible for a
short period early this morning.

Hazards: slick roads...bridges and overpasses.

Timing: Lake effect snow showers will impact northeast portions of
central Indiana today...ending by evening at the latest. Light
accumulations up to an inch are possible. Patchy freezing drizzle
will be possible early this morning through 6 am.

Discussion: Scattered snow showers will develop today across the
region in the wake of a cold frontal passage. High pressure will
build in tonight with dry weather.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Outlook: Upper level disturbances will bring chances for snow
Wednesday afternoon and evening...again on Friday...then Sunday night
and Monday. Light accumulations are possible...especially with the
system Wednesday afternoon and evening.

Discussion: Quick moving upper waves will bring periodic snow
chances to the area Wednesday afternoon and evening then again on
Friday in the northwest flow aloft. A system passing to the south of
the region late weekend into early next week may bring additional
chances for light precipitation in the form of rain and snow.

Spotter snowfall reports would be appreciated today and again
Wednesday afternoon and evening.
