THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR CENTRAL INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

OUTLOOK: THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS THIS EVENING AND
TONIGHT. WE ARE NOT EXPECTING ANY OUTBREAKS OF SEVERE WEATHER AT
THIS TIME. BUT WIND GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH ALONG WITH CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE.

HAZARDS: LIGHTNING...GUSTY WINDS.

TIMING: MAINLY THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT.

DISCUSSION: LOW PRESSURE WILL INTO THE GREAT LAKES BY LATE
TONIGHT. A TRAILING COLD FRONT WILL MOVE TO NORTHERN AND WEST
CENTRAL INDIANA BY THURSDAY MORNING. A MODERATE TO STRONG
SOUTHWEST FLOW WILL OCCUR AHEAD OF THIS COLD FRONT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

OUTLOOK: THERE IS A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS EARLY THURSDAY
MORNING. WE ARE NOT EXPECTING ANY OUTBREAKS OF SEVERE WEATHER AT
THIS TIME.

FREEZING RAIN IS POSSIBLE AT TIMES BEGINNING LATE THURSDAY NIGHT
OVER SOUTHERN SECTIONS AND SPREADING TO ALL AREAS FRIDAY NIGHT
INTO SATURDAY. ON SUNDAY THE FREEZING RAIN THREAT WILL BE MAINLY
OVER NORTHERN SECTIONS. A PERIOD OF SIGNIFICANT ICING IS POSSIBLE.

MONDAY AND TUESDAY WILL BE WARMER WITH A CHANCE OF RAIN.

DISCUSSION: A COLD FRONT WILL STALL SOUTH OF THE OHIO RIVER OVER
THE WEEKEND AND A SHALLOW LAYER OF COLD AIR WILL BECOME ENTRENCHED
ACROSS INDIANA AS HIGH PRESSURE MOVES EAST ACROSS THE GREAT LAKES.

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE INTO THE CENTRAL PLAINS MONDAY AND
THIS WILL PULL THE FRONTAL SYSTEM BACK TO THE NORTH ALLOWING
MILDER AIR TO SPREAD BACK INTO OUR REGION.
