This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Outlook: Thunderstorms are possible tonight.

Hazards: Lightning. Gusty winds. Small hail.

Timing: After 10 pm.

Discussion: Thunderstorms will be possible tonight starting after 10
pm and increasing in potential from west to east as a strong low
pressure system approaches central Indiana from the west.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Outlook: There is a chance for thunderstorms across central Indiana
Saturday. A few of these storms could be strong to severe, with
damaging wind gusts the main threat. Also strong wind gusts of 35 to
50 mph will be possible across much of the area through the day
Saturday and into Saturday night, with the strongest widespread wind gusts
expected from 4 to 8 pm.

Discussion: A strong cold front will move through central Indiana on
Saturday. This will bring rain and a chance for storms, a few of
which could be strong to severe, to the area. Widespread wind gusts
of 35 to 50 mph are expected with a tight pressure gradient across
the state as the cold front moves through and in its wake. Colder air
will filter in behind the front.

Spotters are encouraged to monitor statements regarding storms
Saturday, and to report wind gusts or wind damage outside of storms
as well.
