THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR CENTRAL INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

OUTLOOK: NO WEATHER ISSUES ARE EXPECTED TODAY. HOWEVER SLICK
SPOTS ARE EXPECTED ON ROADS TONIGHT.

HAZARDS: SLICK SPOTS ON ROADS...DUE TO FREEZING RAIN.

TIMING: AFTER 700 PM.

DISCUSSION: FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ACROSS CENTRAL
INDIANA THIS EVENING AND CONTINUE OVERNIGHT. THIS WILL RESULT IN
SLIPPERY SURFACES. EXERCISE CAUTION WHEN VENTURING OUTDOORS
TONIGHT ON FOOT OR IN A VEHICLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

OUTLOOK: FREEZING RAIN IS POSSIBLE AT TIMES ON SATURDAY
MONRING... AND SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY. TOTAL ICE
ACCUMULATIONS WILL AVERAGE FROM A TENTH TO TWO TENTHS OF AN INCH.
THE MAIN IMPACT FROM THIS SHOULD BE HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS
FROM SLICK ICE COVERED ROADS.

MONDAY AND TUESDAY WILL BE WARMER WITH A GOOD CHANCE OF RAIN.

DISCUSSION: A COLD FRONT WILL STALL SOUTH OF THE OHIO RIVER FRIDAY
THROUGH THE WEEKEND AND A SHALLOW LAYER OF COLD AIR WILL BECOME
ENTRENCHED ACROSS INDIANA AS HIGH PRESSURE MOVES EAST ACROSS THE
GREAT LAKES.

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE INTO THE CENTRAL PLAINS MONDAY AND
THIS WILL PULL THE FRONTAL SYSTEM BACK TO THE NORTH ALLOWING
MILDER AIR TO SPREAD BACK INTO OUR REGION.
