THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR CENTRAL INDIANA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

OUTLOOK: THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE AFTER MIDNIGHT...ESPECIALLY OVER
WESTERN PORTIONS OF CENTRAL INDIANA.

HAZARDS: BLINDING RAINS CAUSING LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING...
DAMAGING WINDS AND PROLIFIC LIGHTNING.

TIMING: A LINE OF STORMS WILL MOVE SOUTH-SOUTHEAST OUT OF SOUTHERN
WISCONSIN AND NORTHERN ILLINOIS...ARRIVING IN THE NORTHERN WABASH
VALLEY AFTER MIDNIGHT. STORMS WILL SPREAD SOUTH FROM THERE
OVERNIGHT...MAINLY FOCUSING OVER THE WESTERN HALF OF CENTRAL
INDIANA.

DISCUSSION: A MESOSCALE CONVECTIVE COMPLEX CURRENTLY OVER SOUTHERN
WISCONSIN AND NORTHERN ILLINOIS WILL DROP SOUTH-SOUTHEAST
OVERNIGHT...LIKELY IMPACTING THE WESTERN HALF OF CENTRAL INDIANA
AFTER MIDNIGHT. DAMAGING WINDS AND TORRENTIAL RAINFALL WILL BE THE
PRIMARY THREATS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

OUTLOOK: BOTH VERY HOT AND HUMID WEATHER AND A CHANCE OF
THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH THE WEEKEND. MAX HEAT INDICES FROM 100 TO
110 DEGREES ARE EXPECTED DURING PEAK HEATING FRIDAY THROUGH
SUNDAY. MILDER TEMPERATURES BEGINNING MONDAY WITH DRY WEATHER
STARTING MONDAY NIGHT.

DISCUSSION: EXTREMELY WARM AND HUMID AIR FROM THE GULF OF MEXICO
WILL STAY ACROSS INDIANA THROUGH THE WEEKEND. PERIODIC THREATS
FOR STORMS WILL CONTINUE UNTIL A FRONT PASSES MONDAY.
