...UPDATE TO FIRST TWO TORNADO START TIMES BASED ON RADAR DATA FOR
JUNE 24 THUNDERSTORM...

...DETAILS OF THE EVENT...

A STRONGLY ROTATING THUNDERSTORM TRACKING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH
ACROSS CENTRAL INDIANA PRODUCED THREE WEEK TORNADOES THE AFTERNOON
OF JUNE 24TH. THE FIRST TORNADO WAS RATED EF0 WHILE THE SECOND
AND THIRD /THIRD BEING THE PLAINFIELD-INDIANAPOLIS TORNADO/ WERE
RATED EF1. DETAILS ON THE FIRST AND SECOND TORNADO FOLLOW WHILE
THE PLAINFIELD-INDIANAPOLIS TORNADO WAS LISTED PREVIOUSLY.

BASED ON RADAR DATA...THE START TIMES OF THE FIRST TWO TORNADOES
WERE ADJUSTED TO BETTER MATCH MAXIMUM ROTATION. THE FINAL TORNADO
START TIME FOR PLAINFIELD AND INDIANAPOLIS REMAINS THE SAME AND
BASED ON THE FIRST REPORT OF TOUCHDOWN AND DEBRIS AT 232 PM EDT.

LIMBS OF NUMEROUS TREES WHILE TRAVELING NORTHEAST BEFORE
LIFTING AFTER CROSSING TRUESDEL ROAD EAST OF MCFARREN ROAD.

THIS TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN IN FARM FIELDS BUT UPROOTED NUMEROUS
TREES AND SNAPPED LARGE LIMBS OFF NUMEROUS OTHER TREES. ALONG
ITS PATH TO THE NORTHEAST THE TORNADO ALSO DESTROYED ONE BARN.
