...Preliminary Storm Surveys Scheduled...

The National Weather Service office in New Orleans LA will start
storm surveying this afternoon in relation to the severe storms
that moved through this morning.

One team will be heading to St. Francisville shortly.
Two teams will start looking at the two areas of damage in
Slidell, LA in the next 1-2 hours.

It is possible we will have preliminary results tonight and once
we do, they will be sent via Public Information Statement and
Social Media.

Storm surveys will continue tomorrow into Mississippi with final
results posted Thursday or Friday.

The storm survey information will also be available on our
website at http://www.weather.gov/lix
