For waters beyond 5 nautical miles of shore on Lake Superior.

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the
highest 1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the
average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...Broad high pressure of 30.4 inches centered north of
Georgian Bay encompasses the Great Lakes region early this morning.
By evening, 30.4 ridging will extend across central and southern
Quebec back into the Great Lakes region. During tonight and Friday,
the ridge, at 30.5 inches, will shift to New England and the
Maritime Provinces while low pressure of 29.2 inches lifts from
eastern Colorado into Nebraska. This low will continue to track
northeast, weakening to 29.6 inches by the time it reaches
northeast Lake Superior on Saturday evening. On Sunday, 30.4 inch
high pressure will build over far northern Ontario as a 29.6 inch
low pressure lifts northeast across the central Plains. This low
will continue to track northeast, crossing Lake Superior during
Monday. In its wake, a 30.0 inch ridge will shift east across the
Mississippi Valley during Monday night.
