...The National Weather Service in St Louis MO has issued a Flood
Warning for the following rivers in Illinois...

  La Moine River at Ripley.

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Rainfall heavier than forecast could cause river levels to rise even
higher than predicted. The National Weather Service will monitor
this developing situation and issue follow up statements as
conditions change.

...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY EVENING TO WEDNESDAY
MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...La Moine River at Ripley.

* WHEN...From Sunday evening to Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Moderate flooding begins.  Extensive
  cropland is flooded below the gauge near the LaGrange Lock Road
  bridge.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 18.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tomorrow evening to a crest of 22.6 feet Monday morning.
    It will then fall below flood stage early Tuesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 22.0 feet.
