...THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR EAST CENTRAL FREDERICK COUNTY
IN NORTHWESTERN VIRGINIA IS CANCELLED...

The severe thunderstorm which prompted the warning has moved out of
the warned area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
northern and northwestern Virginia.

...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 PM EDT
FOR WESTERN LOUDOUN...EAST CENTRAL CLARKE AND SOUTH CENTRAL JEFFERSON
COUNTIES...

At 152 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Berryville, or
9 miles east of Millwood Pike, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to
         fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage
         homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed
         trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured
         light objects may become projectiles.

Locations impacted include...
Berryville and Wickliffe.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Prepare immediately for large hail and deadly cloud to ground
lightning. Seek shelter inside a well-built structure. Stay away from
windows.
