...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of east central Ohio, including the following
  counties, eastern Belmont, southeastern Columbiana, Jefferson OH
  and eastern Monroe, Pennsylvania, including the following
  counties, Allegheny, southern Armstrong, Beaver, southern Butler,
  Fayette, Greene, west central Indiana, southern Lawrence,
  Washington and western Westmoreland, and West Virginia, including
  the following counties, Brooke, Hancock, Marion, Marshall,
  Monongalia, Ohio, north central Preston and Wetzel.

* WHEN...Until 1230 PM EDT Friday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
  remain closed due to flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1233 AM EDT, emergency management reported heavy rain and
    flooding in the warned area. Flooding is ongoing. Between 1.5
    and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen.
  - The heavy rain has ended, with light showers expected through
    early Friday morning. Additional rainfall amounts should be a
    quarter of an inch or less.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Pittsburgh, Penn Hills, Mount Lebanon, Bethel Park, Ross
    Township, Morgantown, Wheeling, McCandless Township,
    Monroeville, Cranberry, Moon Township, McMurray, Greensburg,
    Weirton, McKeesport, Fairmont, Steubenville, Butler,
    Washington and Franklin Park.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
