...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL WAYNE...
SOUTHWESTERN NASH...WILSON AND NORTHEASTERN JOHNSTON COUNTIES THROUGH
415 PM EDT...

At 320 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Bailey to near Clayton. Movement was east
at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Wilson, Clayton, Elm City, Bailey, Micro, Selma, Kenly, Lucama,
Middlesex, and Black Creek.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM EDT for
central North Carolina.
