...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 7 PM MDT SUNDAY...

The National Weather Service in Riverton has issued a Red Flag
Warning, which is in effect from noon today to 7 PM MDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS: Low Humidities, Unseasonably Warm Temperatures, and Gusty
  Winds could cause erratic fire behavior.

* AFFECTED AREA:
  In Central WY...Fire Weather Zone 280.

* COUNTIES AFFECTED:
  In Central WY...Natrona.

* WIND: Southwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* HUMIDITY: As low as 11 percent.

* TEMPERATURES: Highs in the lower 70s. Lows around 40.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Critical Fire Weather Conditions should
  deteriorate overnight, with increasing RH values and decreased
  winds. RH recovery will be fair to good tonight. Critical Fire
  Weather Conditions are expected to return by Sunday afternoon as
  winds increase and RH values decrease.

either occurring now....or will shortly. A combination of strong
winds...low relative humidity...and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
