.DISCUSSION...Temperatures will trend a bit warmer today while a
dry airmass remains in place. Expect southwesterly winds to
increase during the afternoon. Conditions will not be too
dissimilar for Wednesday. Thereafter, a pattern change is
expected, with cooler and wetter conditions Thursday through
Saturday. Over the burn area, precipitation is expected to fill in
Thursday night, with Friday likely being the wettest day, then
continuing through Saturday. Precipitation totals of 1-1.5 inches
of water equivalent are expected Thursday through Saturday,
corresponding to 5-10 inches of snow, mainly above 8500 feet.
Between 7500-8500 feet, generally 1-5 inches of snow can be
expected.


Excellent mixing is expected through Friday with clearing index
of 1000+. Mixing may decrease over the weekend, although clearing
index is expected to remain above 500.
