...COASTAL FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Moderate coastal flooding is expected.

* WHERE...Coastal Jefferson, Coastal Wakulla, Coastal Taylor and
  Coastal Dixie Counties.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Inundation of 2 to 4 feet above normally dry ground is
  expected along the immediate coast within the warning area. This
  will result in flooding of roadways in Panacea, Saint Marks,
  Steinhatchee, Horseshoe Beach, and Steinhatchee. Some non-elevated
  structures, particularly those in Suwannee and Horseshoe Beach
  will be most vulnerable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Water levels will be highest around the
  time of high tide this afternoon between 3 PM ET and 5 PM ET.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If
travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through
water of unknown depth.

* WHAT...For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents.
  For the Coastal Flood Advisory, minor coastal flooding expected.
  For the High Surf Advisory, large breaking waves of 4 to 6 feet
  expected in the surf zone.

* WHERE...Coastal Franklin County.

* WHEN...For the High Surf Advisory, until 4 PM EDT this
  afternoon. For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 8 PM EDT this
  evening. For the High Rip Current Risk, through late Friday
  night.

* IMPACTS...Water levels of 1 to 3 feet above normally dry ground
  are expected around the time of high tide this afternoon,
  particularly east Carrabelle. Overwash of roadways on Alligator
  Point is likely. Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
  localized beach erosion. Rip currents can sweep even the best
  swimmers away from shore into deeper water.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.
