The National Weather Service in Topeka has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southeastern Morris County in east central Kansas...
  Southwestern Lyon County in east central Kansas...

* Until 315 PM CDT.

* At 238 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 8 miles southeast of Cottonwood Falls to 9 miles
  northwest of Hamilton, moving north at 45 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and nickel size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Emporia, Americus, Olpe, and Dunlap.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 35 between mile markers 128 and 131.
 Kansas Turnpike between mile markers 117 and 130.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
