TODAY, AND IS EXPECTED TO RESULT IN HAZARDOUS WINTER WEATHER AND DIFFICULT
TRAVEL CONDITIONS OVER THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE. SNOW WILL DEVELOP ACROSS THE
REST OF THE HIGH COUNTRY, SPREADING TO THE PIKES PEAK REGION BY THIS EVENING.
OTHERWISE, LOOK FOR PARTLY SUNNY SKIES ACROSS OF SOUTHERN AND EASTERN COLORADO,
WITH A SLIGHT CHANCE OF PRECIPITATION THROUGH THE SOUTHERN VALLEYS.

THE STORM SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD THROUGH THE REGION, BRINGING PERIODS
OF MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW AND GUSTY WINDS THE PIKES PEAK AND PALMER DIVIDE
AREAS TONIGHT AND FRIDAY. THE REST OF THE LISTENING AREA CAN EXPECT A CHANCE OF
SNOW THROUGH FRIDAY, BEFORE THE STORM EXITS THE REGION SATURDAY. MILD
TEMPERATURES ARE IN STORE TODAY, BUT A SURFACE COLD FRONT WILL MARK THE START
OF A NOTICEABLY COLDER PERIOD FRIDAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND.

THE FORECAST FOR THE SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS. A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SNOW WILL
DEVELOP IN THE LATE MORNING, INCREASING TO A CHANCE OF SNOW THROUGH THE
AFTERNOON. HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE MID 20S TO AROUND 40 DEGREES, WITH
SOUTHWEST WIND 10 TO 30 MPH, GUSTING 45 TO 50 MPH.

FOR THE WET MOUNTAINS AND THE WET MOUNTAIN VALLEY. SKIES WILL BE PARTLY SUNNY
TODAY, WITH A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SNOW IN THE AFTERNOON. HIGHS ARE EXPECTED TO
RANGE FROM THE MID 20S TO THE MID 40S, AND WINDS WILL BE FROM THE SOUTHWEST

WARNING IS IN EFFECT ABOVE 10 THOUSAND FEE. SNOW WILL INCREASE THROUGH THE DAY,
BECOMING LIKELY IN THE AFTERNOON WITH ACCUMULATIONS OF 1 TO 4 INCHES. HIGH
TEMPERATURES ARE GOING TO BE IN THE UPPER TEENS AND 20S, AND WINDS WILL BE FROM
THE SOUTHWEST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 35 MPH.

FOR THE SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS. A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SNOW WILL DEVELOP IN THE
