WEATHERWISE DURING JULY OF 2015 IN SHREVEPORT AND BOSSIER CITY...WE
RECORDED WARMER AND DRIER THAN NORMAL CONDITIONS. JULY OF 2015 NOW
RANKS AS THE EIGHTH WARMEST JULY ON RECORD AND THE WARMEST JULY
SINCE 2011 THAT AVERAGED 88.1 DEGREES. ALSO THIS JULY RANKS AS THE
ELEVENTH DRIEST JULY ON RECORD AND THE DRIEST JULY SINCE 1993 THAT
ONLY TALLIED 0.27 INCHES OF RAINFALL.

THIS JULY PROVED RATHER UNEVENTFUL WITH NO WEATHER RECORDS BROKEN OR
TIED AS WELL AS NOT OBSERVING SEVERE WEATHER. ON THE OTHER
HAND...AT MONTH`S START...THE RED RIVER RECEDED BELOW THE 30 FOOT
FLOOD STAGE DURING THE 2ND OF THE MONTH AFTER THE RECORD WET MAY OF
2015 AND ALSO FROM TROPICAL DEPRESSION BILL. EXPECT WELL ABOVE
NORMAL STAGE AND DISCHARGES TO CONTINUE ON THE RED RIVER THROUGH
LATE AUGUST AS UPSTREAM RESERVOIR RELEASES CONTINUE FROM LAKES
