FALL 2015 AT GRAND FORKS UNIVERSITY (NWS) WAS WARMER AND DRIER THAN
NORMAL. THE MEAN HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 58.7 DEGREES FOR THE SEASON WAS
5.8 DEGREES ABOVE AVERAGE...MAKING IT THE FOURTH HIGHEST RECORDED.
THE AVERAGE TEMPERATURE WAS 48.6 DEGREES MAKING IT 5.6 DEGREES ABOVE
NORMAL. THIS IS ALSO THE FOURTH HIGHEST ON RECORD. FOR THE MEAN LOW
TEMPERATURE OF 38.4...IT WAS 5.2 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL AND RANKED
THIRD. LIQUID PRECIPITATION WAS 3.75 INCHES WAS 1.12 INCHES BELOW
THE SEASONAL AVERAGE OF 4.87 INCHES. SNOWFALL WAS ONLY ABOUT HALF OF
NORMAL WITH 3.4 INCHES...WHICH IS 3.7 INCHES BELOW THE AVERAGE OF
7.1 INCHES.
