.SUMMARY...
WINTER OF 2016-2017 WAS YET ANOTHER WARM WINTER, AND HAS ENDED UP
BEING ONE OF THE WARMEST EVER RECORDED. THAT BEING SAID, IT ACTUALLY
WAS COOLER THAN LAST WINTER BY 2/10THS OF A DEGREE.

WHAT MADE A BIG IMPACT THIS YEAR WAS HIGH TEMPERATURES. THERE WERE
SEVERAL INSTANCES OF HIGH TEMPERATURES IN THE 70S AND EVEN A COUPLE
OF DAYS IN THE 80S. THERE WERE 28 DAYS WITH FREEZING TEMPERATURES,
WHICH WAS THE FEWEST SINCE 1997-1998, BUT NOWHERE NEAR A RECORD.

SNOWFALL WAS SERIOUSLY LACKING, AND THIS WINTER HAD THE LEAST AMOUNT
OF SNOW IN SEVERAL YEARS. BUT, THAT BEING SAID, IT WAS STILL THE 9TH
WINTER IN A ROW WITH MEASURABLE SNOWFALL.

.SEASONAL TEMPERATURES...
THE AVERAGE SEASONAL HIGH TEMPERATURE WAS THE WARMEST SINCE 2015-
2016, AND THE 7TH WARMEST ON RECORD. THE AVERAGE SEASONAL LOW
TEMPERATURE WAS THE WARMEST SINCE 1956-1957, BUT WAS NOT IN THE TOP
10 WARMEST. THE AVERAGE SEASONAL TEMPERATURE WAS THE WARMEST SINCE
2015-2016, AND THE 8TH WARMEST ON RECORD.

.SEASONAL RAINFALL...
THIS WAS THE DRIEST WINTER SINCE 2010-2011.

.SEASONAL SNOWFALL...
THIS WINTER HAD THE LEAST AMOUNT OF SNOWFALL SINCE 2008-2009.
