...Flood Potential Outlook for rises on rivers and streams in the
following counties in California...Modoc and in Oregon...Klamath...

.Moderate rainfall that has occurred combined with snowmelt
is bringing signifcant rises to area rivers and streams. Small
streams and creeks are expected to peak late today into tonight.
Mainstem rivers are forecast to see rises with these rivers
peaking Saturday into Monday. No flooding is expected on
mainstem rivers.

A flood potential outlook is issued when there is the potential for
significant rises or flooding along rivers and streams.

The exact scenario for flooding remains uncertain. This product will
be updated as necessary. Watches and warnings may be issued by the
National Weather Service if this situation worsens.
