* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHWESTERN MITCHELL COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS...
  NORTHERN OSBORNE COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS...
  SOUTHWESTERN JEWELL COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS...
  SOUTHEASTERN SMITH COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL KANSAS...

* UNTIL 500 PM CDT

* AT 153 PM CDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED THAT
  HEAVY RAIN HAS FALLEN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. NEARLY 2 INCHES OF
  RAIN FELL IN THE CITY OF OSBORNE IN 45 MINUTES BETWEEN 1230 AND
  115 PM. FLASH FLOODING IS ALREADY OCCURRING. OTHER ESTIMATES
  INDICATE 3.5 INCHES MAY HAVE FALLEN JUST SOUTH OF ALTON.

* THE HEAVY RAIN HAS MOVED OUT OF THE WARNED AREA. FLOOD WATERS
  SHOULD RAPIDLY RECEDE THIS AFTERNOON.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  OSBORNE...DOWNS...CAWKER CITY...PORTIS...ALTON...IONIA AND HARLAN.
