The National Weather Service in Louisville has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Southeastern Spencer County in central Kentucky...
  Northeastern Nelson County in central Kentucky...
  Anderson County in central Kentucky...
  Northeastern Washington County in central Kentucky...

* Until 730 PM EDT

* At 433 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
  heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have
  already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Lawrenceburg, Ballard, Bloomfield, Wakefield, Wayside, Anderson
  City, Glensboro, Johnsonville, Seaville and Ashbrook.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches in less than 1 hour are
possible in the warned area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

In hilly terrain there are hundreds of low water crossings which are
potentially dangerous in heavy rain. Do not attempt to cross flooded
roads. Find an alternate route.
